The
next Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Childrens’ Self Defense Class
is scheduled for Monday, January 31.
The
class is free of charge and open to boys and girls age 5-12. Participants must
be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The
session begins at 6:00 that evening, and includes personal safety information
and discussion, and hands-on demonstrations and practice of several simple
self-defense techniques.
Instructors
will be Martial Arts Masters James Cobb and Joe Cayer. The seminar will be
hosted at the Martial Arts Academy, 42 Garnett Avenue, across Eglin Parkway from
K-Mart.
