Red Light Running Operation

The Okaloosa County Sheriffs Office Traffic Enforcement Unit will conduct a “Red Light Running Operation” on Thursday, March 16^th at the intersection of Beal Parkway and Pelham Road in Fort Walton Beach .  The goals of the Red Light Running Operation are to detect and stop the running of red lights and ensure the safety of citizens in Okaloosa County as well as law enforcement officers. 

Running red lights is identified as an aggressive driving violation.  Violations are $177.50 infractions, with 4 points applied to the driver’s license. 

Sheriff Charlie Morris and the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is committed to traffic safety and to ensuring everyone traveling on Okaloosa County roadways may do so securely, free from harm and personal danger.
