MARY
ESTHER WOMAN WANTED FOR EVIDENCE TAMPERING
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of
43-year old Anita Sue Pinto-Aguilar (pictured left) on a charge of tampering
with evidence. Pinto-Aguilar
is the mother of 17-year old Amber Nicole Rohwedder. Pinto-Aguilar first
reported her daughter as a runaway on June 2nd. The teen’s skeletal
remains were found in Santa Rosa County June 21st. (For details on the warrant,
see the attached probable cause addendum).
Pinto-Aguilar is believed to have recently left her home at 350 Avon Lane in
Mary Esther in a silver, 2005 Toyota pick-up truck with tag number B72 7MJ.
Investigators are also looking for Pinto-Aguilar’s husband, Jose
Pinto-Aguilar, 35 to 40 years of age, on a violation of probation charge for
battery and domestic violence.
His whereabouts are also unknown.
