HOME INVASION ROBBERY SUSPECT
IDENTIFIED
A man killed during a home invasion robbery in Fort Walton Beach early
Monday morning has been identified as 42 year old Clete Alexander Davis of
1460-C 30th Street in Niceville.
27-year old Oran Eduard Dixon says he and an acquaintance were at his
home at 2237 Monahan Court when a black male, later identified as Davis, came in
with a gun around 4 a.m. and demanded money. Investigators say Davis was wearing
a bandana to cover his face. A struggle took place and Davis died at the scene.
Dixon was treated for minor injuries at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and
released.
An autopsy to determine Davis’ cause of death is scheduled for Tuesday.
Investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office are looking for
a black teenage female who may have been at the scene at the time and could have
information in the case. They are also trying to locate a car belonging to
Davis: a red, 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix with large rims. The Florida tag number is
I430SS.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the OCSO Criminal
Investigations Division at 850-609-2000 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at
