STABBING VICTIM IN STABLE CONDITION
A Fort Walton Beach teenager has been charged with aggravated battery in
connection with an early morning stabbing. 18-year old Christopher Tyler Bedsole
of 512 Winthrop Street was arrested Sunday by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s
Office. He’s accused of stabbing 19-year old Dante Quinn of Destin around
12:15 Sunday morning outside 411 Cobia Avenue on Okaloosa island. Quinn suffered
a cut to the throat and is currently in stable condition at Sacred Heart
Hospital in Pensacola.
Investigators say Quinn and Bedsole got into a fight over money.
Deputies are currently looking for two other suspects. They are also
trying to locate Bedsole’s car, which was used during the crime. It’s a late
90’s model black Ford Taurus with Florida tag number G940YX. Bedsole says it
was stolen from where he had parked it on Lowery Drive after the incident.
Anyone with information on the crime or the location of the car is asked
to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 850-651-7400 or Emerald
Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS.
