CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERIES ARREST

The investigation into a home invasion armed robbery last week has helped the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office solve the armed robberies of two area convenience stores.

While questioning suspects 18-year old Ashley Goodman and 16-year old Ebony Bush, investigators were also able to link the pair to the hold-ups of the Exprezit Store at 191 Eglin Parkway in Fort Walton Beach on January 21st and the Tom Thumb at 100 Miracle Strip Parkway on February 4th, 2007. Goodman and Bush also implicated 18-year old Demetrius Tyler of 2 West Aubry Circle.

All three Fort Walton Beach residents are now charged with armed robbery in connection with those two crimes.

In the Exprezit robbery, the clerk says three people came in and a black male holding a gun demanded money. In the Tom Thumb hold-up, the clerk says she was robbed at gunpoint of a pack of cigarettes and a dollar bill.
