NAIL SHOP OWNER ARRESTED
ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES
The Okaloosa County
Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday at a home/business
on Duval Street off Racetrack Road and arrested the homeowner/business owner on
numerous drug charges. 48-year old
Florencia “Fia” Crusio-Moore, the owner of Fia’s Nails and Alternations, was
arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, trafficking in
hydrocodone, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and
possession of drug paraphernalia.
The search warrant
action was the result of an investigation that involved multiple undercover buys
at the address.
The search today
at 309 Duval turned up more than five pounds of marijuana; some of it packaged
in forty-dollar baggies for sale. In addition, investigators found hydrocodone
packaged for sale, as well drug paraphernalia, cocaine, and Xanax. The home has
an elaborate bar set up directly behind it.
Moore has
reported her business as the victim of multiple burglaries as well as a home
invasion robbery by two armed men on January 11th.
Investigators say those reported crimes are likely the result of Crusio-Moore’s
drug activities.
