TWO MORE ARRESTS IN ARMED HOME INVASION
Frederick Price
A joint
investigation between the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Walton Beach
Police Department has led to the arrests of two more suspects in Monday
morning’s armed home invasion at 813 Miramar Street in Mary Esther.
19-year old
Fredrick “Freddie” Montrez Price of
821 Cardinal Street, Lot #5, Fort Walton Beach is charged with armed home
invasion and attempted homicide. 21-year old Justin Brian Green of 1644 East
Selma Street in Dothan Alabama is charged with armed home invasion. Both Price
and Green also admitted taking part in an earlier armed home invasion in the
City of Fort Walton Beach.
Investigators
say Price and Green kicked in the front door at 813 Miramar Street around 4:20
a.m. July 14th, made those inside get on the floor and began yelling “Where is
it?” Price then hit a 14-year old boy in the head with a gun, put it to the
child’s head, threatened to kill him, and pulled the trigger four times. The gun
did not go off but a bullet fell out and was recovered by deputies who say the
primer had been struck.
Price and Green
fled the home when law enforcement officers arrived.
Price suffered a deep cut
to his right hand finger after breaking a bedroom window while running away.
Investigators
say both defendants admitted entering the home with the intention of stealing
money and drugs.
Prior to their
arrests, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office charged 20-year old Nicole Myers
of Fort Walton Beach with being a principal to armed home invasion. (See earlier
news release.)
