Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Criminal Investigations Section, executed a narcotics search warrant at 8540 Highway 189 in Baker on July 8th. During a search of the residence, investigators located a trafficking amount of fentanyl, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, evidence of distribution, and approximately eight pounds of marijuana.
45-year old Kevin Lee McKinney has been charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of cocaine with intent distribute, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and Possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
The Multi-Agency Drug Task Force is comprised of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Crestview Police Department, Niceville Police Department, and Fort Walton Beach Police Department. These agencies work cohesively to target, disrupt, and dismantle drug trafficking and money laundering organizations in Okaloosa County.
