On August 14, 2024, Larry Stidam was arrested by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrants Unit for 20 counts of possession of child pornography and use of two communication device.
During the month of May 2023, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, in coordination with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, began working on an Internet undercover operation to identify persons using the Internet to traffic in child sexual abuse material.
In April 2024, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant at Stidam’s residence on Valparaiso Blvd, Niceville, Florida, and several electronic items were seized.
